The quick six mounting kit enables you to immediately bolt a six-cylinder engine into your 914-4, using the factory engine pods. the '73-76 bodies, however, do require the purchase of the early rubber engine mounts. The bulkhead mount is for the serious six conversion. Welded in by a competent mechanic, it allows you to eliminate the four cylinder mounting pods allowing more clearance for valve adjust, easy removal of the rear shift bar and most importantly shifts the center of weight further forward to the factory recommended position. This linkage kit is a must for your 914-6 restoration or six conversion. The kit includes a 914-6 accelerator cable with jamb nuts and ball cup, linkage pull rod with ball cup, mounting bracket, bell crank with bushings, and protective rubber cable bellows.
